The scenery. The town, The mountains
Hot tub was broken! Pool was closed, receptionist told us it was open - we walked over and were turned away. Older ski lodge - good for the winter maybe. Was loud - heard plumbing all night and noisy neighbors.
They held a beach volleyball tournament at the forecourt during our stay... Amazing to see against the backdrop of the beautiful Columbian mountains! Impressed at the efforts the hotel had gone to in hosting the event eg shipping in tons of sand and creating a beach atmosphere. Staff were also mindful that guests were not disturbed by the activity and were very friendly and helpful.
For some reason, electrical items would not charge properly from mains.
Very comfortable king size bed.
Could hear people walking in the hall outside, and the room could have been in better shape (clean)
Revelstock town is a small but excellent town on the verge of Canadian Rockies The location of the hotel is excellent. We made an overnight stop in this hotel on the way to Banff. We could have spent a whole week …. The hotel has an attached pub/bar and they serve excellent local beer and food.
Although the hotel rooms are very specious and ideal for large family, the bathroom was slightly dated.
The hotel has decently big rooms and you have parking in front of the hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
The hotel itself is very old and needs renovation. Internet access is poor in the rooms at the far end.
5 minutes walk from down town, restaurants etc. Good breakfast and very pleasent lady in charge
It needs refurbishment, the building looks shabby.
There really wasn't much to like about this hotel, except the waitress at the breakfast was very nice and helpful.
Did not feel safe in this hotel. Room smelled musty. Sheets extremely thin. Shower had used bar of soap with hair on it. Would not recommend this hotel.
While the facilities in this hotel are fairly old, the room was very clean. The hotel served quite a nice continental breakfast that was included in your room price.
This hotel is very old. I believe it was built in the late '50's or early '60'S. The bed we had was not very comforable as it appeared to very old. This hotel is a good choice if you want a clean room to spend a night. This hotel would be perfect for skiers, sledders an hikers who were looking for a cheaper hotel.
Free continental breakfast
Poor plumbing in the bathroom (broken shower faucet that was unpredictable when ity came to switching from hot to cold water)
Quite location & opposite the Police Station. Ample parking lots.
Poor room lighting. Should avoid using 40w bulbs. I had to switch some bulbs around to improve the distribution of light. Poor tv reception. Airconditioning not cold.
Quite location opposite the Police Station. Shops and limited activities are 2 or 3 blocks away. Ample parking lots.
Dim lightings. Some bulbs are 40w. One lamp switch was not working. Under this poor lighting condition, it is difficult to judge the cleanliness. Airconditioning not cold. Tv poor reception. Phone not working. Bathroom needs updating.
Friendly, helpful young man at reception.Very simple accommodation that served our purpose as an overnight stop on our way to the Rockies.
This place was fine good staff and food was fine breakfast was good
It was in town, and very easy to find.
Definitely showing it's age, our room smelled musty and dank, with a pretty uncomfortable bed. The restaurant food was decent, though.
Really nice pub called "The Last Drop" within the building. Great manager/bartender there, good atmosphere, good prices.
Walls are thinner than paper. Could hear just about everything coming from the floor above us. Ceiling creaks as people walk on the floor above you. Also, had to really nag the staff for any sort of compensation, and even that was fairly meager.
